The Cauldron - A Background

The idea of producing my own cartoon series first came to me in 2006, and went through different iteration until I finally settled on this one. The challenges I had to face included lack of any formal training, lack of basic drawing skills, and finding ways to express my "deep” thoughts using few words and crude stripped-down characters. By the end of 2015, I felt that I had finally found the right combination of characters, ideas and skills to make this work, and so I launched the Cauldron Series with fingers and entrails crossed. In the summer of 2016, however, and as things got too delirious, I decided to put the series on hold to give myself time to adjust. Soon afterwards, I put DDGD itself on hold. I relaunched both sites in late February 2017.
